In January 2002, SENY made the Ad Hoc Committee on the Internet a standing committee named the Website Committee. The committee involves members who are both computer and Internet users as well as non-users. New members are always welcome.

The Website Committee (also known as the Webteam) is responsible for establishing the guidelines, privacy polices and practices that the Area website and Bulletin Board follow as well as determing what material is appropriate for inclusion on the website, all subject to the approval of the SENY Committee and Assembly. It is also responsible for the management of the Area's e-mail system. It is committed to improving and expanding the use by SENY of the World Wide Web as a vehicle for carrying the AA message.

The committee also manages the technical demands of a website and e-mail system.

In 2008, the Website Committee has been involved in a major redesign of the Area's website as well as looking into the pros and cons of the Area's accepting contributions and/or payment for events online.

More information on SENY's Website Committee is available in the SENY Service Handbook, or go to the Standing/Ad Hoc Committee Events page.
