Hello. I am a member of Alcoholics Anonymous in the New York, South Eastern area and serve on the Public Information Committee. We are working with the public to offer information on where people can find AA if needed and information to help them decide if they need help. Police, fire departments and hospitals are all important areas to focus on as drinking and drinking problems often begin or worsen with stressful jobs. Our committee has even come to visit to give a live talk with recovered people in this field. If you are interested in us coming, please feel free to reply TO ALL of this email, and we can have someone contact you to arrange and even be able to bring pamphlets with us to hand out.
We have attached here a digital pamphlet, “Alcoholics Anonymous in your Community” as well as a link to our ‘Meeting Guide App’ to use for where to find a meeting. We ask for you to please post on your website for employees. You can even search for local meetings near you, print and post on your bulletins. We hope you join us on this journey trying to help anyone, anywhere find help should they need it. We thank you for your time reading our email.
